Merrin Gallery

The other Hellenistic objects in Merrin Gallery like Lysippan Head of a Young Seleucid Prince. The date of its creation is close to the Tanagra figurine from Wheaton Permanent Collection, which was also 3rd-2nd century BC. The record of provenance of the Head are all Paris galleries, which proved the connection between the Merrin Gallery and Paris art Market. Also, other objects from ancient Greek in the gallery were came from European collectors. After the boom of art market of tanagra figurines, the gallery collected the Hellenistic Woman Draped figure from some private collectors or collected directly from the market.
