Lawrence University

Sultry Night resided here from 1937-42 in the Private Collection of President Thomas Barrows. The college is located in Appleton, Wisconsin. Similarly illustrated in Wood's landscapes, the lanscaping in the image depicts a rotund and wide-sweeping greenery. Wood sold the print to Lawrence University in a grouping of prints. They were used as teaching tools for students of the college.
