Sue and Tom Biro

From 2003 to 2009, the thirteen volume set of Aldrovandi's natural history was in the ownership of Sue and Tom Biro. They pruchased the set from Christie's Auction house in 2003 and had the volumes rebound at Syston Bindery in 2004.

Sue and Tom Biro are the owners and operators of Collectable Books, a business that sells rare and collectable books. On their website, collectablebooks.co.uk, the Biros state that they are in the market for "Books published before 1800, Bibles, early music and psalmody. Early cookery, in print or manuscript. Also the classics, travel, topography, and the arts and architecture as well as miniature books."

In 2009, the Biros sold the volumes to the Wheaton College Permanent Collection.
