Sultry Night

Sultry Night is a black and white lithograph, created by Grant Wood in 1937. To the left of the image is a nude male facing the viewer, standing at end of water trough and pouring bucket of water over his head. A large tree is located at right approximately one-third from right end of water trough; small tree in background at end of right field. The print was offered by Child's Gallery in Boston, Mass. for $34,000, but Wheaton recieved a $3,000 discount. The print was created in edition of 100 (not numbered); Signed in pencil by the artist.
