New York City

This apartment building at 246 E 46th Street is a six storey low-rise in the Turtle Bay Neighborhood of Manhattan in New York City. Entirely made of brick, the building is in the post-war style, fitted with an elevator.

After puchasing the painting in Queretaro, Madeline Farsnworth returned from her travels and took the painting with her to her home in New York City (246 E 46th Street, New York, New York). She added the painting to her personal art collection which she kept with her in her apartment. While there is no record of her previous apartment in the city, census records indicate that Madeline moved into this apartment building on April 1st, 1974 and lived in this apartment by herself until 1998.
